Rob Glass
President and Chief Executive Officer
Rob Glass is president and CEO of Shred-Tech® where he manages the company’s worldwide operations, business growth, strategy and key partnerships.
With more than 15 years of experience at Shred-Tech®, Glass has played a pivotal role in the company’s global success, positioning this privately owned business as a technological leader worldwide in the dynamic and ever-changing shredding industry. His contributions have led the company into exponential growth; in just ten years, Shred-Tech®’s revenues increased from $5 million to more than $60 million.
Glass has solid expertise in all aspects of the company and the shredding industry. He joined Shred-Tech® in 1991, where he held the position of general laborer and since then, Glass rapidly progressed to other roles within the company including purchasing assistant, inventory control, and sales and marketing manager.
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Glass earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics.
Joe Roberto
Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Joe Roberto is vice president of sales and marketing at Shred-Tech®. In this role, Roberto oversees the company’s worldwide sales and marketing initiatives and dealer activities.
Since joining Shred-Tech® in 2004, Roberto has bolstered the company’s worldwide sales team and led efforts to increase sales of shredding trucks by 30 percent in just two years. He also developed a financing program to help increase the availability of Shred-Tech® equipment to potential customers and added distribution partners to service customers in Mexico and South America.
Prior to joining Shred-Tech® in 2004, Roberto was a Shred-Tech® customer as president and partner at Kwik Shred, a document shredding company with offices in Chicago and Toronto. By 1999, Roberto helped Kwik Shred become the largest independent shredding service in the United States.
Roberto’s deep experience in the waste reduction industry also includes his role as regional recycling manager for BFI, a multi-national, publicly traded waste management company. At BFI, Roberto drove strong results, which won him a notable award for his performance.
