Cambridge, ON – February 12, 2008 – Shred-Tech, a world leader in information destruction and reduction systems including mobile and plant-based shredding, today announced the appointments of Joe Roberto as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, and Cheryl Rutledge as Human Resources Manager.
As Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Roberto oversees the company’s worldwide sales and marketing initiatives and dealer activities.
As Human Resources Manager, Rutledge is responsible for developing and managing employment and training programs, salary compensation, job evaluations and benefits.
Previously, Roberto served as sales manager where he was responsible for overseeing Shred-Tech’s sales activities and bolstered the company’s worldwide sales team, leading to a 27 percent increase in total sales. Prior to joining Shred-Tech in 2004, Roberto was a Shred-Tech customer as president and partner at Kwik-Shred, a document shredding company based in Chicago.
Previously, Rutledge was human resources coordinator, where she established standardized policies and procedures and brought continuity across the Shred-Tech organization. Prior to joining Shred-Tech in 2003, she served as the executive assistant to the Chairman and CEO of CCL Industries Inc. Rutledge received her Human Resource Management Certification from Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
