The Lockbox-SL-19 is non-CDL and is engineered to carry a large load of materials to minimize the number of times you need to travel to the facility for unloading. It features a 19,500 lb. chassis GVW with a legal payload of up to 6,400 lbs., allowing you to broaden your customer base and spend more time on route generating revenue. Please note that the legal payload capacity for this collection truck is an estimate based on chassis GVWR only. The actual payload can vary depending on many factors, including paper type, weather conditions, and system maintenance. Shred-Tech® does not guarantee payload results.

Loading

This high-quality collection truck utilizes our proprietary and patented Gripper Tipper®, which is capable of lifting all bin types, such as the 64-gallon and 96-gallon containers with a “One Step” operation. The items that are collected are kept protected from the elements thanks to the expandable and lockable bin tipper enclosure that provides a sealed compartment. This also maximizes security and operator safety, eliminating the risk of the bin falling from the lift during the loading process. Built with efficiency in mind, loading from curb level takes only a few seconds. With this kind of speed, your workers spend less time waiting around.

Auto Unloading

This collection truck is equipped with our special walking floor feature, which provides you with quick and easy unloading once you get to your facility. Once the truck reaches maximum capacity, the operator just needs to activate the active floor. The rear-mounted walking floor unloads from the back of the vehicle once the truck gets full. When the automatic walking floor is activated, it pushes all of the gathered materials onto the ground where they can be prepared for the next step. Within minutes, the entire truck is unloaded, and the driver can get back on route to visit more customers and collect more documents for destruction. This means that you’re spending much less time at the facility and much more time out there generating revenue.

Layout & Controls

Control over the collection truck’s loading and unloading system can be easily accessed from the control panel located on the side of the vehicle. The panel features an LCD monitor that allows for constant payload monitoring. This system gives you complete control over bin loading at curb-level by utilizing these convenient yet rugged hydraulic control levers. The entire control panel is incredibly easy to use.

Back-Up Camera

The Lockbox-SL-19 is a large vehicle, so we recommend that you install the high-quality back-up camera. Located in the rear of the collection truck, this camera provides the driver with increased visibility while they are maneuvering our oversized truck. Bin Tipper Adapter

The Lockbox-SL-19 works mainly with 64-gallon and 96-gallon industrial standard bin containers, but you can choose to include the optional bin tipper adapter with your collection truck. This adapter is designed to help with the loading of 32-gallon bins in addition to the standard ones.
