Each of our high-performing Mobile Collection Trucks has been engineered to provide you with optimized efficiency. The entire loading process takes under a minute while the unloading process only takes about 4-5 minutes. This means that your workers are spending less time waiting and more time out on the road generating more revenue for your business. Both the Lockbox Series and Select Series are available with differently sized chassis GVW, including 19,000 lbs., 26,000 lbs., 33,000 lbs., and 58,000 lbs. Offering maximum versatility, you can decide which size best suits your specific requirements, such as whether you’re constantly dealing with medium-duty or heavy-duty applications.

Some of our models, such as the Lockbox-SL-33, Lockbox-SL-58, and Select-33, are CDL required, which means that only professionally trained drivers are allowed behind the wheel of your investment. Other models, such as the Lockbox-RC-19, Lockbox-SL-19, Lockbox-SL-26, and Select-26, are non-CDL, making them excellent entry-level vehicles that allow you to start your paper collection business right off the bat.

Our Truck Fleet meets the EPA’s strict new low emissions standards and operates on ULSD (ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel) or B5 Biodiesel fuel. Please note that the legal payload capacity for any of our trucks is an estimate based on chassis GVWR only. The actual payload can vary depending on many factors, which can include paper type, weather conditions, and system maintenance. Shred-Tech® does not guarantee payload results. All of our Mobile Collection Trucks have a 2-year warranty.

Select Series Collection Trucks

When it comes to collecting confidential documents and preparing them for destruction, you can never go wrong with Shred-Tech®’s Select Series Collection Trucks. This fleet is specially designed to be used in conjunction with a shredding plant, providing you with a reliable means of transporting the paper directly to the facility for shredding. The Select Series also works in conjunction with a satellite facility where paper is consolidated for transfer. Designed for maximized efficiency, paper can be bulk loaded right onto the walking floor. This is the ideal configuration for unloading the materials directly onto a conveyor or floor, making it a much easier process to prepare them for shredding or further transportation.

Providing you with optimized efficiency, the Select Series offers chassis GVW ranging between 26,000 lbs. and 33,000 lbs. with a legal payload ranging between 7,700 lbs. and 11,000 lbs. With spacious storage capabilities, these trucks make short work of even the busiest route. It has double the payload of a conventional straight truck, allowing you to carry many more materials before you need to head to the facility and unload. More time spent on route means visiting more customer sites and generating even more revenue.

The Select Series can be pre-loaded with plastic bulk bins (plastic gaylords), which can be filled individually, allowing for paper sorting while on the route. Offering greater efficiency, these standard bins can be off-loaded quickly and safely at a loading dock with the help of the automatic walking floor. With just a push of a button, the operator can activate our handy unloading system that takes only about 4-5 minutes, allowing the driver to hit the road again a lot sooner. Otherwise, they can be sealed and shipped to your shredding plant. The bins are collapsible to allow for stacking and storage upon return to the collection market or depot.

Loading is accomplished through the use of Shred-Tech®’s patented and proprietary Gripper Tipper®, a retractable bin loading system that offers quick and easy loading of many types of industry standard container bins. It is designed to protect the materials within the sealed enclosure from environmental elements, ensuring maximum security for your client’s documents.

This fleet is equipped with our user-friendly state-of-the-art Plus+1® micro-control system with advanced intelligence, which is strong enough to control and monitor the entire loading and unloading system. This system includes a number of high-quality features, such as a job timer, an automatic bin counter, advanced diagnostics, and Predictive Idle. It also provides real-time feedback thanks to the camera located within the storage compartment so that you can keep an eye on the materials. Additionally, the Plus+1® system communicates with the truck chassis to provide information and allow for the remote start and stop capability. It also provides shredding system performance data and can individually actuate each system component in maintenance mode.
