Our reliable and efficient Lockbox-SL-26 is non-CDL, making it an excellent entry-level choice for your company in which you do not need to rely on certain employees to handle the vehicle. It features a 26,000 lb. chassis GVW with a legal payload of up to 11,000 lbs. It can carry more materials for you, allowing you to visit more customers on route instead of constantly heading back to the facility for unloading. This way, you can broaden your customer base and reach more clients, spending more time on the road generating revenue. Standard Features for the Lockbox-SL-26

Shred-Tech®’s Lockbox-SL-26 is designed by our highly trained and experienced engineers for optimal serviceability. It features a range of standard features that are engineered to provide maximum support to the rest of the collection truck, working together to create the ideal truck that suits your company’s specifications. Our features include the high-quality Gripper Tipper® retractable bin tunnel for easy loading as well as the rear-mounted walking floor for quick unloading. You can control the loading and unloading systems with ease using our high-quality control panel, which allows you to assume control over the entire collection process.

Loading

Loading is accomplished smoothly and efficiently with the help of our proprietary and patented folding bin tunnel Gripper Tipper®, which is designed to handle all bin types, including 64-gallon and 96-gallon standard containers with a “One Step” operation. The bin tipper enclosure is engineered to be expandable and lockable, providing a sealed compartment in order to effectively protect the enclosed materials from environmental elements. This also maximizes security as well as operator safety as the bin tunnel eliminates the risk of the bin falling from the lift. Loading is done with optimal efficiency in which it only takes just a few seconds to dump all the material into the collection truck.

Auto Loading

Designed for optimized efficiency, the Lockbox-SL-26 is engineered with a walking floor auto unloading system that makes the job quicker and easier. Once the collection truck reaches maximum capacity, the operator can simply activate the active floor. The rear-mounted walking floor unloads from the back of the vehicle. All of the collected materials are deposited right onto the facility to floor within minutes, putting your workers back on route in no time. Less time spent unloading means that your workers are spending less time at the facility and more time out on the road, visiting customer sites, collecting even more materials, and generating revenue.

Layout & Controls

You can access control over the collection truck’s loading and unloading system directly from the vehicle’s control panel, which is located on the side of the truck. This panel features an LCD monitor that lets you constantly monitor the payload. You experience complete control over bin loading at curb-level with the help of the panel’s convenient and rugged hydraulic control levers. The control functions using the state-of-the-art Plus+1® micro-control system with advanced intelligence, which allows you to both control and monitor the entire loading and unloading process. For superior handling, this system includes a number of handy features, such as a job timer, an automatic bin counter, advanced diagnostics, and Predictive Idle.

Data Bearing Device Shredder

The ST-5 Mobile Hard Drive Shredder is an excellent addition to your collection truck as it adds an extra revenue stream for your business. It has the power to effectively destroy a hard drive in under 5 seconds right at your customers’ site, giving them peace of mind knowing that their important and confidential information is fully destroyed. Self-contained and easy to operate, the hard drive shredder works quietly and is fuel efficient. It can be added right onto the collection truck, or it can be retrofitted onto any of your existing trucks.

Please note that the addition of the data bearing device shredder will reduce the truck’s payload.

Bin Tipper Adapter

Currently, the Lockbox-SL-26 is designed to load 64-gallon or 96-gallon industrial standard container bins, but with the addition of the bin tipper adapter, you’ll be able to load 32-gallon bins and/or 175-gallon bins. Not only does this open you up to accept different sized bins, but it also increases the versatility and serviceability of the collection truck, allowing you to handle many more types of collection jobs.

Cart Storage

For additional convenience, we also have an optional storage compartment available for storing your 64- and 96-gallon carts or any of those extra file boxes. This allows you to store more containers within the truck so that you can continue to keep up with the demands of the job. It offers easy passenger side access as well.
