Controls

Operating a shred truck has never been easier since we’ve equipped the MDS-1S-33 Shred Truck with the powerful Plus+1® micro-control system. Easily accessed from the passenger side and boasting state-of-the-art technology, the Plus+1® computer system offers a wide range of handy features, such as a job timer, automatic bin counter, advanced diagnostics, and Predictive Idle to name a few, all while maintaining the ability to monitor the entire shredding process from start to finish. The features and abilities of this control system grant the user a high level of control with precise monitoring that simply can’t be achieved with analog systems. To allow you to have a complete view of the shredding process, the Plus+1® includes two cameras: one above the shredder and another in the payload compartment. With the parallel ignition feature, the MDS-1S-33 can be started quickly, easily, and safely from either inside the cab or from the auxiliary position at the control panel. The key can then be left in either position while operating the truck, meaning that you only need one key as opposed to two separate keys. This feature is unique to Shred-Tech® trucks and offers an extra level of convenience not found anywhere else.
