Designed for maximum fuel efficiency, the shredding truck features an auto shutdown mechanism. If the shredder finishes the job while the operator is away, it will dial itself down and then shut the engine down completely. The operator can start the truck back up with just a push of a button on the control panel. The truck itself is built to last longer as it features an all stainless-steel body with an FRP gel coating to help maintain a more professional look. Because this shredding truck requires the driver to have a CDL to operate, it ensures that you allow only professionally certified drivers to handle your valuable investment. ST-15H Shredder

The power and performance of the MDS-3S-58 comes from its solid ST-15H Shredder. This high-quality machine is built from cast aluminum for optimized strength without the weight burden of steel. It has an impressive throughout of 8,500 lbs. per hour that lets you maximize efficiency and workflow to finish each individual shredding job in no time. Designed with high-strength alloy shafts with durable hub knives, the ST-15H has the bite needed to rip apart the documents into unintelligible shreds, effectively protecting your client’s information. The shredder also features two new innovative additions: cast-in cleaning fingers and a bridgeless vibrating feed hopper. This vibrating hopper feature means that if the shredder doesn’t detect enough pressure, it will automatically feed itself by vibrating the upper portion of the hopper. The vibrations are contained to that upper section so that the rest of the shredder and the truck are unaffected.

Auger Compactor & Auto Unloading

The auger compactor and auto unloading system are both designed by our engineers to provide optimized performance to support the entire shredding process for faster speeds. The auger compactor transfers the shredded remains of the confidential documents into the storage compartment for more efficient cleaning and management. The automatic walking floor unloading system can then unload a truckful of paper in under five minutes, allowing your operators to spend less time in the facility and more time out on the road generating more profit for the organization.

Bin Tunnel

Shred-Tech®’s high-quality shredding truck features the proprietary and patented Gripper Tipper. This bin tunnel loading system provides your operators with effortless loading of industrial standard containers. This durable system can hoist up any 64-gallon or 96-gallon bin and dump its contents right into the hopper. Easy to operate from the control panel, the tunnel extends right out from the side of the vehicle without exceeding the truck’s height. Since the tunnel is contained, the load is fully protected from the elements and there is also no chance of the bin falling off of the lift, which could otherwise result in injury. This helps increase the safety factor by reducing risks.

Controls

The power of the MDS-3S-58 comes from our state-of-the-art Plus+1 micro-control system with advanced intelligence to help you stay in control throughout the shredding process. Located within easy reach on the passenger side of the vehicle, this control panel has a number of features that significantly improve its performance, such as digital gauges, pin counters, job timer, automatic bin counter, and more. It also features parallel ignition, which allows you to put the truck’s key in the auxiliary position from outside of the cab and then remotely start the truck from the control panel. The panel also has two cameras: one above the shredder and one in the payload compartment so you have a clear visual throughout the shredding process.

Easy to add onto the truck, this camera helps improve visibility for the driver while maneuvering the oversized vehicle. Because the MDS-3S-58 shred truck is one of our largest shred truck options, this is an extremely useful feature when it comes to safely operating it. The camera features durable stainless-steel guard protection that helps protect the camera from inclement weather and impact.

Data Destruction

The Shred-Tech® ST-5 Mobile Data Destruction Shredder is an excellent addition to your truck as it works to ensure complete destruction of your client’s confidential and personal data drives. It has a throughput of 750 hard drives per hour and 1,000 solid-state drives per hour, and it’s strong enough to effectively rip the drive down into shreds, protecting your customers’ information and offering them peace of mind. Physical destruction is the only method to fully ensure the data cannot be retrieved or reconstructed, and so adding a Data Destruction Shredder to your fleet can add a healthy stream of additional revenue.

Front Cart Storage

With the addition of the Front Cart Storage option, you can create a dedicated space within the truck for storing your bins. Offering better convenience, it creates a storage area for the 64-gallon and 96-gallon bins as well as for any extra file boxes separately.
