Shred-Tech®’s qualified engineers designed the MDX-2-33 Shred Truck with a revolutionary dual-mode ST-15H Shredder, which features a two stage/chamber unit that can operate in two modes. Pressing a button on the control panel switches the shredder from standard mode with a throughput of up to 7,000 lbs. per hour to high-security mode with a throughput of up to 1,000 lbs. per hour. Both modes work together to ensure that all your customers’ confidential information is shredded down into unreadable scraps. The shred truck is made with an all-stainless-steel frame with an FRP gel coating that gives the vehicle an overall professionally finished look, which can help fortify your company’s integrity. The MDX-2-33 Shred Truck requires the driver to have a CDL to operate it, meaning only professional drivers can be behind the wheel of your valuable investment.

ST-15H Shredder

The ST-15H shredder features our revolutionary dual mode system that offers highly efficient document shredding capabilities. Standard shredding is done with a throughput of 7,000 lbs. per hour for quick and effective paper destruction. With a push of a button, the system switches to a high-security mode that has a throughput of up to 1,000 lbs. per hour. This takes the material down to an incredibly small DIN-certified shred size, ensuring the protection of your clients’ information. This mode doesn’t rely on screens or moving additional shredders in and out of position, making the entire system user-friendly and reliable. The shredder is comprised of 36 sharp knives that are 3/8” thick and primed and ready to eat through several loads of documents.

Auger Compactor & Auto Unloading

In order to make the unloading process significantly easier for the operators, we have included both an auger compactor and an auto unloading system. The twin-screw angled compactor is designed to efficiently transport the remains of the paper from the shredder directly into the storage compartment, which helps prevent backups and blockages. The automatic walking floor unloading system then quickly deposits the truckful of scraps onto the facility floor in under five minutes. With these two components working together, they ensure a maximum payload of up to 13,300 lbs. along with rapid discharge of shredded materials. This leaves your operators with more time that can be spent on the road, shredding paper, and generating revenue.

Bin Tunnel

For maximum efficiency, the MDX-2-33 Shred Truck is equipped with our proprietary and patented Gripper Tipper®. This bin tunnel loading system is designed to make the process more manageable as you transfer the documents into the hopper for shredding. It can be easily operated directly from the control panel, and it can lift 64- and 96-gallon industry standard containers with ease. The durable bin tunnel is designed to extend out of the side of the vehicle without exceeding the truck’s height. Because the tunnel is fully enclosed, it effectively protects the documents from wind and rain. It also offers better safety for your workers as the bin cannot fall off of the lift, eliminating the risk of injury.

Controls

The entire shredding system is easily controllable from our state-of-the-art Plus+1® micro-control system. Designed to be user friendly, the control panel is located on the passenger side of the vehicle within easy reach. It offers several advantages that help make the process as smooth as possible, including digital gauges, pin counters, a job timer, an automatic bin counter, and more. It also has parallel ignition, which means that you can put the truck’s key in the auxiliary position from outside of the cab, allowing you to remotely start or stop the truck directly from the control panel. This feature is unique to Shred-Tech® trucks and eliminates the need for two separate keys. Along with the button that controls which mode the shredder is operating in, there is also the Gripper Tipper® control that smoothly brings the bin up or down.
