The ST-100 Industrial Shredder is a complex, heavy-duty shredder machine that features a 32” wide cutting chamber with two available lengths. The shredder is capable of handling a wide range of products as well as bulky wastes. It can tear through some of the tougher loads, such as wooden pallets, metals, hazardous wastes, passenger tires, and more. Once these products go through our shredder, they end up in a smaller, optimum shred size. It works with a large-duty throughput of up to 3 tons per hour, working much more efficiently for the business. Offering you significant durability and higher service factors, the shredder features a new cast steel body design with bulkhead walls and labyrinth barriers located at each end of the cutting chamber for maximum bearing and seal protection.

Our ST-100 Industrial Shredder is equipped with a range of high-quality standard features that are designed to enhance its performance for optimal usage. Along with easily removable sectional cleaning fingers and a lightweight chamber plate for quicker cutting chamber disassembly, this industrial shredder also features sharp knives, durable hex shafts, and a user-friendly control panel. Each of these features work together in order to support the rest of the shredding system, whether it’s for the configuration or the actual shredding process.
Knives
Our experienced engineers have designed each knife profile and configuration for optimized shredding capabilities. The knives are sharp enough to eat their way through some of the thicker materials until there’s nothing left but the shredded remains. Built with a thick and sharp tip, the knives are durable enough to continuously handle the day-to-day jobs with ease and efficiency. Each knife is designed to suit the application for maximum throughput and shred size so that they can cleanly bite into the tough products, such as wood, steel, metal, rubber, and so much more.
Hex Shafts
The hex shaft is uniquely designed to maximize knife placement options so that you experience optimized shredding use for a wide variety of applications. The hex shaft works together with the knives to guarantee maximum shred size on the materials. The shaft is easy to access for easier knife removal and machine maintenance. It is several times stronger than a keyed shaft, and maximizes the knife-tip cutting force.
Control Panel
The ST-100 control panel is designed by Shred-Tech® engineers and built in house by our certified technicians. It features a large screen HMI, a keyed power switch, fused lockable disconnect, an hour meter, and a programmable logic controller for shredder functions, including automatic overload detection and knife reversal. This panel puts the entire shredding process right into your hands, allowing you to take full control to ensure that the system is working just how you want.

Hopper
The high-quality workmanship of the hopper complements the rest of the ST-100 Industrial Shredder. This heavy-duty hopper is designed to contain the feed material in the shredding chamber guiding the material into the knives to avoid spill over. It is wide enough to accept a variety of bulky products, allowing you to shred wooden pallets, heavy metals, electronic equipment, and so much more. The hooper is engineered with an emphasis on durability so that it can withstand the constant demands of the job. In-Feed & Out-Feed Conveyor
In order to experience a much smoother workflow, we offer either the in-feed conveyor, out-feed conveyor, or both. The in-feed conveyor is strong enough to move the bulky products directly into the shredder while the out-feed conveyor transfers the shredded remains of the items away to the next operation. These conveyor systems are designed to work flawlessly with the rest of the industrial shredder to save your workers time and effort.
Stand
The stand is one of the best additions that you can include with your ST-100 Industrial Shredder. This is a solid, reliable, and supportive stand that is built by our engineers with an emphasis on durability.
